Dames de l’Ere 2008 ~ Corbieres.

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Dames de l'EreI picked this wine up at the the Les vignerons de Cucugnan in Cucugnan a few weeks ago while out and about on a photo and video safari. It was a much needed reward for walking up to Chateau de Queribus :-)

In the glass the colour is deep and dark garnet. On the nose are notes of hot earth, black currents and a hint of white pepper.
On the palate it is very short. Just a quick hit of forest fruits in the middle and then it is gone leaving tannins that suck the moisture from your mouth.
This is not really much of a wine and best left on the self.

Cost €4.50

Produced by Les Terroirs du Vertige, 11220 Talairan
