Mont Tauch, A Chinese Take-Away.
The Chinese are not satifised only producing fake designer clothes, watches, and medicines, they are now producing fake Mont Tauch (http://www.mont-tauch.com) Fitou wines, which are being sold in China.
This is no great shock because they have been producing fake Bordeaux wines for a while, and even exporting them to other countries, but come on chaps, why pick on Mont Tauch, that’s just not Cricket (or Mahjong). I’m a little bit biased because I live in a Fitou producing village.
If it’s good enough for the Chinese it’s good enough for me, I’m off to rent a small warehouse here in the Corbieres where I’ll start producing ‘Genuine Chinese Soy Sauce’. Maybe I could use Cave Pilote here in Villeneuve les Corbieres, now that would be tit for tat.
